Народный банк Китая (PBoC), центральный банк страны, опубликовал публичное заявление, предупреждающее инвесторов о рисках при торговле криптовалютой и токенами первоначального предложения монет (ICO), сообщает Reuters.
Центральный офис PBoC в Шанхае опубликовал сегодня новое заявление, призванное «напомнить» потребителям и инвесторам о повышенных рисках при работе с цифровыми активами выпущенными ICO. Участников рынка призывают избегать спекулятивной торговли с криптовалютой и не участвовать в зарубежных проектах ICO.
Год назад центральный банк Китая объявил полный запрет всех проектов связанных со сбором средств через первоначальное предложение монет. В сегодняшнем заявлении граждане Китая предупреждаются о необходимости сообщать властям о любой «предполагаемой незаконной деятельности или финансовых преступлениях».
«Глобальная доля внутренних транзакций в виртуальной валюте снизилась с начальных 90% до менее чем 5%. Это позволило избежать на финансовом рынке Китая эффекта криптовалютного пузыря, образованного в результате резкого роста мировых цен во второй половине прошлого года», — говорится в заявлении.
Напомним, в августе китайские власти активизировали атаку на рынок криптовалют и первоначального предложения монет (ICO).
