Платформа eToro создает новую площадку внебиржевой торговли (OTC) в Лондоне на фоне растущего интереса со стороны институциональных инвесторов, сообщает Business Insider. Генеральный директор компании Йони Ассия (Yoni Assia) в интервью изданию отметил:
«Мы запускаем внебиржевую торговлю для учреждений. Мы все больше и больше заинтересованы в корпорациях и финансовых учреждениях».
OTC рынок обслуживает клиентов, которые хотят размещать крупные заказы. Исполнение таких заказов на традиционных криптовалютных биржах может оказать значительное влияние на рыночные цены. Внебиржевые брокеры распределяют ликвидность на разных биржах для выполнения этих заказов.
eToro — универсальная платформа 
Платформа eToro, выполняющая торговые операции с акциями, виртуальными валютами и другими активами, имеет связи с 15 криптовалютными биржами. Йони Ассия подчеркнул:
«Мы создали корпоративную команду в Великобритании, чтобы начать настройку счетов для торговли на eToro. Мы объявили о том, что начинаем работать на OTC рынке. Это позволит нам привлечь больше потенциальных клиентов».
По заявлению главы eToro, интерес институциональных инвесторов к криптовалюте все еще находится на ранней стадии.
