Финансовая компания Monex из Токио собирается приобрести контрольный пакет акций криптовалютной биржи Coincheck. Сумма сделки, по сообщению информационного агентства Nikkei Asian Review, составит несколько миллиардов йен.
Биржа Coincheck подверглась хакерской атаке 26 января 2018 года. В результате злоумышленники похитили криптовалюту NEM, стоимость которой эквивалентна 530 млн долларов США. После этого случая против криптовалютной биржи было подано три крупных судебных иска от пострадавших клиентов.
