В Гонконгский международный арбитражный центр (HKIAC) поступил иск от платформы криптовалютных деривативов CoinFLEX. Команда сервиса обратилась с целью взыскать с Роджера Вера $84 млн, которые он задолжал после принудительной ликвидации его позиции.
Из-за «экстремальных рыночных условий» и« неопределенности в отношении контрагента» в конце июня платформа приостановила вывод средств, но со временем глава компании Марк Лэмб сообщил, что этим контрагентом является основатель Bitcoin.com Роджер Вер.
Согласно информации компании, Вер получил от CoinFLEX заем на уникальных условиях. По его позиции отсутствует ликвидационная цена — взамен он предоставлял платформе ликвидность. Сам Вер отрицал причастность к долгу.
Также CoinFLEX добавили, что первоначальная оценка ущерба от ликвидации позиции Вера была неверной, поскольку не учитывала его «значительный» залог в токенах FLEX.
Согласно иску, команда CoinFLEX планирует взыскать $84 млн через HKIAC. Со слов истца, юристы положительно оценили вероятность успеха в рамках этого разбирательства.
«Арбитражный процесс — долгий процесс. По нашим оценкам, до получения судебного решения в Гонконге пройдет около 12 месяцев. После этого мы сможем обратить взыскание на его активы по всему миру», — сказано в заявлении.
Сейчас CoinFLEX планирует привлечь средства от инвесторов. Платформа также предложит крупным клиентам «превратить часть депозита в акционерный капитал».
Если планы компании не нарушат другие события, компания сделает запуск токена Recovery Value USD (rvUSD). Токен необходим «для повышения ликвидности в оригинальном или модифицированном формате».
