Во время повторного испытания цифрового юаня (DCEP) в Шеньчжэне, участники эксперимента провели 139 794 транзакции на общую сумму в $3 млн. Об этом сообщили местные власти.
По данным отчета, из числа распределенных через лотерею 100 000 «красных конвертов» с 200 DCEP были активированы 95 628. Часть победителей лотереи пополнили свои цифровые балансы в общей сложности на более 1,5 млн юаней (~$231 000).
По условиям розыгрыша, пользователи должны были потратить средства с 7 по 17 января. Сумма платежей в DCEP за этот период составила 18,22 млн юаней (~$2,8 млн).
По информации от властей, жители могут и дальше использовать цифровые кошельки и тратить средства в более чем 10 000 торговых объектах, принявших участие в эксперименте и после его окончания. Пополнять балансы DCEP пользователи могут через банковские счета.
Напомним, что в октябре 2020 года в Шэньчжэне провели первое массовое тестирование цифрового юаня. Желающих на получение одного из 50 000 «красных конвертов» было порядка 1 913 847 человек. Во время повторной подачи заявок, желание принять участие выявили 1 861 758 жителей города.
