Группа лицензированных криптовалютных бирж Японии стремятся восстановить доверие к рынку. Для повышения безопасности клиентов и повышения эффективности работы 16 бирж, зарегистрированных в Японском агентстве финансовых услуг (FSA), официально создали ранее анонсируемую саморегулируемую организацию. Новое объединение получило название — Ассоциация виртуальных валютных бирж Японии.
Председателем новой организации, как и ожидалось, избран Таидзэн Окуяма (Taizen Okuyama), глава валютной брокерской компании Money Partners. Объединив все лицензированные биржи в стране, Ассоциация заявила, что приложит все усилия для разработки всеобъемлющих правил, обеспечивающих защиту клиентов и гарантирующих внутренний контроль. Соблюдение правил является обязательным для всех членов ассоциации. Нарушители разработанных правил будут караться штрафами.
«Наша главная задача — устранение проблем клиентов и восстановление доверия общественности к криптовалютному рынку», — отметил в речи на первом заседании Ассоциации Таидзэн Окуяма.
Комментируя текущую ситуацию, когда более десятка криптовалютных бирж Японии работают без лицензии от FSA, Окуяма сказал, что новая Ассоциация будет предлагать помощь и консультации для скорейшего лицензирования этих компаний.
