Вечером 7 ноября неизвестные злоумышленники осуществили атаку повторного расходования на сеть украинской криптовалюты Karbo [Карбованец].
Атакующим удалось продать незначительное число фейковых монет в паре KRB/UAH на криптовалютной бирже Kuna, а затем вывести средства в биткоине на приватный кошелек, сообщил ForkLog основатель торговой платформы Михаил Чобанян.
На данный момент Kuna приостановила ввод/вывод KRB и оценивает возможность повторения атаки.
Тем не менее, подчеркнул Чобанян, технический отдел биржи был уведомлен о происходящем разработчиками Карбованця, и было принято решение понаблюдать за развертыванием “атаки 51%” в реальном времени, чтобы применить полученный опыт в будущем и укрепить безопасность площадки.
«Потери эксперимента минимальные, в основном речь идет о времени наших разработчиков. Вскоре, после проведения некоторых подсчетов, мы поделимся опытом с сообществом, поскольку с таким риском сталкиваются все биржи, в листинге которых есть криптовалюты с низким хешрейтом в сети», — добавил он.
Цена KRB отреагировала на событие негативно. Так, за последние 24 часа средневзвешенный курс Карбованця снизился на более чем 30%.
