Майнинить будут на устройствах Antminer от Bitmain. В военной части назвали этот проект способом сотрудничества с гражданским сектором.
В сентябре 2020 года правительство Венесуэлы позволило майнерам работать при условии наличия лицензии от Sunacrip и присоединения к национальному пулу.
Точной информации насчет объема вычислительных мощностей нет. По словам бригады, проект представляет собой «неблокируемый источник дохода».

До этого нацгвардия Венесуэлы задержала грузовик с 315 майнерами от Bitmain. Оборудование было конфисковано, поскольку водитель не получал разрешение от Национального регулятора криптовалют (Sunacrip) для перевозки этого груза.
