IT-гигант IBM заключил с австралийским правительством пятилетний контракт стоимостью в миллиард долларов. Соглашение предусматривает развитие блокчейна и других технологий, чтобы удовлетворить желание властей войти в топ-3 мировых цифровых правительств к 2025 году.
Дэвид Ла Роз (David La Rose), управляющий директор IBM в Австралии и Новой Зеландии отметил, что контракт – доказательство сорокалетнего сотрудничества компании с австралийским правительством. Он демонстрирует «доверие и веру» в возможности компании соответствовать требованиям новой эры.
«Мы с нетерпением ждем возможности помочь правительству усовершенствовать свой цифровой опыт к выгоде всех австралийцев. Этот контракт – наибольший из всех заключенных австралийским правительством», – отметил Роз.
IBM активно продвигает блокчейн-технологии
Ранее стало известно, что IBM объявила о партнерстве с европейскими компаниями, использующими ее облачный сервис, о развитии их блокчейн-сетей и применении «искусственного интеллекта».
Американский гигант будет активно работать с голландской логистической фирмой Koopman Logistics, итальянской мультимедийной компанием Gruppo 24 Ore, французским банком Crédit Mutuel, компаниями Teckel Medical и Osram AG.
Кроме того, IBM iX будет сотрудничать с производителем ПО Mediaocean в пробном применении блокчейна в цифровых медиа и цепочках поставок. Компании возглавят консорциум, в который войдут Pfizer, Unilever, Kimberly-Clark Corp, Kellogg и IBM Watson. Цель эксперимента – проверить, как блокчейн может повысить прозрачность, улучшить борьбу с подделками и ускорить процессы.
