Morgan Creek Digital готова спорить с любым профессиональным трейдером или организацией, считающими, что виртуальные активы «бесполезны», а традиционные акции и другие финансовые инструменты более прибыльные. Инвестиционная компания готова сравнить доходность фонда Digital Asset Index (под управлением Bitwise Asset Management) с индексом S&P 500. Индексный Фонд формируется из следующих цифровых активов: биткоин, эфириум, Bitcoin Cash, EOS, Litecoin, Monero, Zcash, Dash, IOTA и NEM. Отсчет времени для спора начинается с 1 января 2019 года.
Аналогичное пари в свое время заключил владелец Berkshire Hathaway Уоррен Баффет, который в 2018 году поставил 1 млн долларов на то, что фондовый индекс S&P 500 покажет лучшую доходность, чем инвестирование в хедж-фонды на протяжении 10 лет. В начале этого года Баффет выиграл миллион.
