Центральный банк Багамских островов (CBOB) опубликовал регуляторную нормативно-правовую базу для приготовлений к интеграции криптовалютных активов в индустрию финансовых услуг.
Как пишет Nassau Guardian, документ должен стать ответом на целый ряд регуляторных вопросов, которые CBOC ассоциирует с криптовалютами. В частности, речь идет об уклонении от налогов, волатильности рынков, мошеннических ICO и политике борьбы с отмыванием денег.
CBOB считает, что подход к криптовалютной индустрии является слишком фрагментированным, и это «затрудняет минимизацию рисков на финтех-арене».
Поэтому CBOB рассчитывает на имплементацию целого ряда поправок в существующие регуляторные нормы, сходные с рекомендованными МВФ.
В соответствие с этими поправками все компании, работающие на или с территории Багамских островов, должны «продемонстрировать безопасные и финансово устойчивые бизнес-практики; показать, что располагают системами, позволяющими измерять, мониторить и адекватно контролировать рыночные и другие риски; а также обеспечить прозрачные процедуры для предотвращения использования своих услуг в преступных целях».
Выполнение правил противодействия отмыванию денег также будет обязательным.
