Банк-партнер компании Binance (Signature Bank) прекращает обрабатывать SWIFT-платежи пользователей биржи в фиатном долларе на сумму менее $100 000. Таким образом организация планирует снизить влияние рынка цифровых активов на свой бизнес. Информацию об этом пишет Bloomberg, ссылаясь на заявление криптовалютной платформы.
«В результате некоторые пользователи не смогут использовать банковские SWIFT-переводы для покупки или продажи цифровых активов за доллар США, если объем не превышает указанный порог», — цитирует агентство заявление компании.
Также в интервью Bloomberg представитель Binance сообщил, что ограничения не затронут других банковских партнеров по системе SWIFT. А Signature Bank «обслуживает 0,01% от среднемесячного числа пользователей биржи», и компания «активно работает над поиском альтернативного решения».
В twitter некоторые клиенты биржи уже пишут, что получили от биржи электронное письмо с предупреждением о вводимых ограничениях.

О причинах таких решений пишет The Wall Street Journal. Согласно их информации, Signature Bank и другая кредитная организация, обслуживающая компании сектора цифровых активов (Silvergate Bank), активно привлекают займы от консорциума ипотечных банков Federal Home Loan Banks.
