Теперь биржи объединятся. Новообразованная компания станет «одной из самых крупных криптовалютных торговых платформ в Канаде».
По итогу сделки, совокупные активы под управлением биржи вырастут до 350 млн канадских долларов (около $257 млн), аудитория новой платформы достигнет 1 млн пользователей.
После публикации этой новости, акции CoinSmart в моменте взлетели на 100%, до 0,32 канадских доллара. На момент написания ценные бумаги компании торгуются на уровне 0,19 канадских доллара.
В ноябре 2020 года Coinsquare объявила об изменениях в составе совета директоров после обвинения Комиссии по ценным бумагам Онтарио в фальсификации торговых объемов.
В том же месяце Налоговая служба Канады через суд запросила у торговой платформы данные всех ее пользователей с 2013 года.
