Биткоин биржа LedgerX заявила об увеличении объемов торговли в 7 раз за последние 6 месяцев после начала торговли криптовалютными фьючерсами. По заявлению руководства биржи, за прошедший период объем операций по криптовалютным деривативам превысил 130 млн долларов. Торговля фьючерсами на биткоин была запущена в конце октября 2017 года после получения лицензии Комиссии по срочной биржевой торговле (CFTC). Торговля долгосрочными фьючерсами на BTC началась в ноябре 2017 года.
По информации операционного директора LedgerX, каждый последующий месяц объемы торговли росли на 40 процентов. В настоящее время биржа располагает открытыми долгосрочными контрактами, срок погашения которых запланирован на декабрь месяц. Спад на рынке криптовалюты, по заверению представителей биржи, мало влияет на торговлю опционами. LedgerX насчитывает 90 частных и институциональных инвесторов. В планы компании входит расширение проводимых операций за счет включения в листинг биржи эфириума.
