Нельсон Майнир (Nelson Minier), директор отдела внебиржевых продаж (OTC) платформы цифровых активов Kraken, полагает, что еще слишком рано считать ведущую криптовалюту безопасной гаванью для инвесторов.
«Уолл-стрит сильно изменилась. Первые 15 лет, которые я там провел, были веселыми. Мне очень повезло. Я начал на рынке депозитных сертификатов, он здорово напоминает рынок цифровых активов. Там масса финансовых инноваций, много трейдинга», – отметил Нельсон.
Собеседник Майнира, кроме прочего, заговорил о том, что биткоин понемногу получает репутацию актива-убежища, поскольку якобы не подвержен ограничениям денежно-кредитной политики, которым подвергаются фиатные валюты. По мнению сотрудника Kraken, называть ведущую криптовалюту активом-убежищем рановато, учитывая его высокую волатильность.

«Я не вполне уверен, что это безопасный актив, однако он начинает работать именно так. Я думаю, что люди понемногу начинают включать его в свои портфолио», – добавил эксперт.
Тем не менее, полагает Нельсон, несмотря на то, что пока преждевременно называть Биткойн «тихой гаванью», «мы уверенно идем этим путем».
