Главный коммерческий директор криптовалютной платежной платформы BitPay отважился высказать очередной оптимистический прогноз относительно будущего биткоина. По мнению Сонни Сингха (Sonny Singh), к концу 2019 года цена главной криптовалюты будет находится в диапазоне от 15 до 20 тысяч долларов, сообщает Bloomberg.
Эксперт утверждает, что следующее ценовое ралли произойдет после выхода на рынок таких финансовых гигантов, как Fidelity и Intercontinental Exchange (ICE) и запуска в работу их ориентированных на институциональных инвесторов платформ. 
Кроме того Синх считает, что на самом криптовалютном рынке происходят положительные структурные изменения, проводимые биржами и операторами кошельков. Так, Coinbase и криптовалютный банк Silvergate, по его сведениям, все-таки готовятся к выходу на IPO. Следующий год будет «захватывающим» для цифровых активов, так как SEC решит положительно вопрос с ETF, что значительно активизирует отрасль.
Однако Синх выразил пессимизм относительно будущего проектов первоначальных предложений монет, заявив, что «…рынок ICO сейчас довольно мертв». В тоже время усиленное внимание к ICO со стороны SEC не сулит ничего хорошего.
Напомним, в октябре BitPay объявил о начале работы со стейблкоинами Gemini (GUSD) и Circle USD Coin (USDC).
