«Команда Block.one считает этот иск необоснованным и со множеством неточностей. Но, приняв это соглашение, мы сможем сосредоточить больше времени и усилий на управлении собственным бизнесом и запуске новых продуктов», — сказано в пресс-релизе.
Напомним, в мае 2020 года фонд Crypto Assets Opportunity обвинил компанию в том, что проведенное в 2017-2018 годах ICO проекта EOS на $4,2 млрд было проведено в условиях введения в заблуждение инвесторов.
По данным истцов, Block.one предоставила инвесторам неправдивую информацию о проекте с целью привлечения инвестиций с продажи незарегистрированных ценных бумаг.
Из документа стало известно, что компания якобы стимулировала рост цены EOS посредством «агрессивного» маркетинга.
Ранее сообщалось, что в мае 2021 года Block.one инвестировала $10 млрд в запуск собственной биткоин-биржи Bullish.
