Инвестиционный фонд Bitcoin Trust был запущен криптолендинговой платформой BlockFi. Такая информация стала известна с официального пресс-релиза.
В конце января 2021 года компания подала заявку в SEC для получения разрешения на запуск нового фонда, с ориентацией «на институциональных и прочих квалифицированных инвесторов».
«Планируем, что траст будет выпускать акции посредством частных размещений. Главная инвестиционная цель заключается в том, чтобы стоимость акций отражала стоимость BTC, находящихся под управлением траста, за вычетом его расходов и прочих обязательств», — говорит команда BlockFi.
Также есть информация, что в скором времени новый продукт будет доступен аккредитованным частным инвесторам из США.
Fidelity Digital Assets фонду будет предоставлять кастодиальные услуги. Coin Metrics предоставит индексы и ценовые данные, а Grant Thornton LLP выступит в роли аудитора.
Взимать комиссию за управление активами фонда в размере 1,75% будет дочерняя структура BlockFi Management будет
