С января 2017-го Goodr помогла компаниям и ресторанам в Атланте организовать отсылку остатков продуктов в местные благотворительные организации. Основатель и глава Goodr Джасмин Кроу (Jasmine Crowe) рассказала CNBC, что компании пользуются специальным приложением. С его помощью они сообщают об излишках продуктов, которые затем пакуются и отправляются в некоммерческие организации.
Компания использует блокчейн для хранения данных о том, сколько продуктов уходит в отходы, и где могут зря тратиться деньги. Данные, которые собирает Goodr, включают информацию о продуктах, дающих наибольшее число отходов. А также о влиянии на окружающую среду и о коммунальных связях.
