В пресс-релизе сказано, что установленные на ферме в Казахстане ASIC-майнеры Avalon уже эксплуатируются.

«Уверены, что наш собственный бизнес по майнингу биткоина поможет улучшить финансовые показатели компании, а также расширить сферу деятельности и клиентскую базу», — сказал CEO Canaan Наньгэн Чжан.
Также добавил, что благодаря интеграции ресурсов в новую деятельность, производитель сможет сбалансировать складские запасы оборудования.
Кроме того, майнинг призван защитить от волатильности биткоина и обеспечить достаточные запасы майнеров для продажи во время подъема рынка.
