В связи с растущим спросом со стороны розничных и институциональных инвесторов, Чикагская биржа опционов (CBOE) не исключает возвращения в листинг фьючерсов на базе биткоина. Такую информацию сообщает Bloomberg.
«У нас есть прежний интерес в этом пространстве. Нам интересно выстраивание единой платформы», — сообщил CEO биржи Эд Тилли.
Для справки. CBOE — первая регулируемая биржа, запустившая BTC-фьючерсы 11 декабря 2017 года. 19 июня 2019 года в условиях медвежьего рынка и конкуренции с CME площадка исключила этот инструмент из листинга.
Также Эд Тилли также прокомментировал тему биржевого фонда на базе первой криптовалюты.
«Надеемся получить одобрение совместного с VanEck запроса», — сказалон.
Напомним, что Комиссия по ценным бумагам и биржам США (SEC) отклонила предыдущие заявки. А 18 марта SEC приступила к рассмотрению нового запроса VanEck и СBOE. Решение будет принято регулятором в течение 45 дней, либо отложено на срок до 240 дней.
