Аналитическая компания Chainalysis опровергла обвинения в сборе и продаже данных клиентов Coinbase. Они появились после того, как на прошлой неделе представители криптобиржи заявили о необходимости использовать решения стартапа Neutrino.
Предыдущий поставщик аналитический решений был обвинён в торговле данными клиентов Coinbase. Конкретная компания при этом названа не была. Поэтому представители Chainalysis объяснили, что не занимаются хранением и передачей персональных данных.
Транзакции не связываются с пользователями
Биржи, которые используют инструменты компании, передают только данные о переводах средств. Это делается для того, чтобы автоматизировать процесс мониторинга транзакций.
Chainalysis не собирает идентификационные данные с бирж.
Её представители отметили, что транзакции выделяются с помощью индикаторов рискованного поведения (например, в случае наличия данных о связи адреса получателя с террористической организацией либо торговцем в даркнете).
Достаточно знать, что тот или иной криптокошелёк принадлежит одному из клиентов биржи.
