До этого ключевым источниками аналогичных вирусов были торрент-ресурсы и порносайты.
По информации ESET, в 2021 году РФ сохранила первенство среди стран по числу пострадавших от атак, связанных с криптовалютой, – 11,2% от общего количества. Пик хакерской активности зафиксирован с сентября по декабрь 2021 года и составила 12,3% от всех обнаружений в мире. Причиной такого явления аналитики называют рост курса цифровых валют.
