Большинство из них запущено два года назад. Тогда крипто-рынок стремительно рос. По сравнению с 2016 годом количество мошеннических проектов увеличилось более чем в 5 раз.

Эксперты LongHash вынесли в отдельную категорию шуточные проекты (3,2%) и стартапы, которые потерпели неудачу (3,6%).
Заброшенные проекты оказались наиболее долговечными. Средний срок существования (от запуска до полной потери интереса) обычно проходит 1,7 лет. Провалившиеся проекты в среднем живут 1,6 лет, шуточные – 1,4 года. Мошеннические обычно пропадают с радаров за год.
