Как сообщает крупнейшая в Индии биржа криптовалют CoinDCX, ей удалось привлечь инвестиции в размере $2,5 млн. от Polychain Capital и Coinbase Ventures.
Главная цель привлечения инвестиций – укрепление позиций криптовалюты в этой стране. Средства будут направлены на поиск новых пользователей, а также организацию обучающих программ. В планах CoinDCX – увеличение клиентской базы до 50 млн пользователей.
Генеральный директор и соучредитель CoinDCX, Сумит Гупта, отметил:
«Привлеченные инвестиции – залог успеха и гарантия уверенности в нашей дорожной карте. Ведь мы планируем внедрить криптовалюту и создать новый рынок Индии».

По статистике, после снятия Верховным судом Индии запрета на банковское обслуживание криптовалютных компаний, число активных пользователей возросло на 150%, а торговые объёмы увеличились на 47%.
«Поскольку Индия активно сокращает разрыв между основным и криптовалютным рынками, именно CoinDCX имеет все шансы стать лидером, активизировав и другие страны Азии», — добавил Сумит Гупта.
Если говорить о Polychain, то в конце марта 2020 года компания также инвестировала $3 млн. в криптовалютную биржу в Мумбае. Это также произошло спустя несколько недель после снятия местніми властями запрета на предприятия, занимающиеся криптовлатой.
