Криптовалютная биржа Coinbase объявила о начале продажи виртуальной валюты в парах с британским фунтом стерлингов. Такая торговля будет доступна для трейдеров, проживающих в Великобритании, с 7 сентября 2018 года.

В официальном блоге Coinbase об этом сегодня сообщил генеральный менеджер Coinbase Pro Дэвид Фармер (David Farmer). В дополнение к доступным на сегодняшний день торговым парам фунта с биткоином биржа откроет в пятницу торговлю со следующими криптовалютами: эфириумом, Bitcoin Cash, Ethereum Classic и Litecoin.

Фармер объяснил механизм введения торговли, разбитый на три этапа. Основное преимущество получат трейдеры из Великобритании, которые избавятся от необходимости в конвертации фунтов стерлингов в евро. Это сэкономит не только средства, необходимые для обмена, но и сократит время на проведение транзакции.
В начале августа Coinbase впервые предоставила услуги по снятию средств и открытию депозитов с использованием GBP.
Напомним, в марте Coinbase получила официальное разрешение на проведение финансовой деятельности с электронными деньгами от Управления по финансовому регулированию и надзору Великобритании (FSA).
