Крупнейшая американская криптовалютная биржа Coinbase опубликовала результаты опроса об уровне осведомленности о криптовалюте в США и связанных с ней тенденциях.
Как говорится в блоге компании, опрос Coinbase, в котором приняли участие 2000 респондентов, показал, что осведомленность о криптовалюте в США продолжает расти: 58% американцев слышали о биткоине.
Часть опрошенных выразила желание диверсифицировать свои инвестиционные портфели с помощью цифровых валют, им также нравилась идея единой мировой криптовалюты и отсутствие высоких комиссионных за перевод средств.
В топ-10 штатов с самым высоким уровнем осведомленности о цифровых активах входят Калифорния, Нью-Джерси, Вашингтон, Нью-Йорк, Колорадо, Юта, Флорида, Аляска, Невада и Массачусетс. Такие штаты, как Делавэр, Невада и Вайоминг имеют более низкий общий процент осведомленности о криптовалютах. В то же время в этих штатах отмечено большее количество хранимой криптовалюты на душу населения.
«Больше смысла, чем акции»
Отвечая на вопрос о том, что побудило их приобрести криптовалюту, среди основных причин респонденты упомянули об инвестиционных возможностях, предоставляемых криптовалютой, об интересе к новым технологиям и способности к самообучению в этой области.
Один 30-летний участник опроса отметил, что «для людей моего поколения криптовалюта имеет гораздо больше смысла, чем акции, облигации, недвижимость или другие амортизирующие активы».
По мере роста внедрения криптовалюты, регуляторные органы и власти многих стран мира приняли или разрабатывают законы, касающbеся криптовалюты и лежащей в ее основе блокчейн-технологии. Таким образом, по состоянию на июнь 2019 года более 70% штатов США, как сообщается, приняли правила, касающиеся криптовалют или блокчейна.
