Дополнительно в компании рассчитывают, что благодаря интеграции кошельков Ledger будет реализован дополнительный уровень защиты. В Coinbase дополнительно разъяснили новым пользователям о аппаратных кошельках.
«Аппаратные кошельки — это физические устройства, сохраняющие приватные ключи от вашего адреса в автономном режиме. Учитывая, что для каждой транзакции на блокчейне требуются как публичный, так и приватный ключи, аппаратный кошелек — гарантия, что только пользователь, физически владеющий устройством, может ее завершить».
Для объяснения команда биржи сравнила использование аппаратного кошелька с двухфакторной аутентификацией, когда вместо сгенерированного сервисом кода используется физическое подтверждение нажатием кнопки.
