Японский интернет-брокер Monex Group, купивший пострадавшую от взлома криптовалютную биржу Coincheck, объявил о возобновлении открытия счетов и проведении ограниченных торговых операций с 30 октября 2018 года.
Ранее, в январе, хакеры похитили средства у Coincheck, оцениваемые в то время в 534 миллиона долларов США. Биржа была вынуждена приостановить оказание некоторых услуг, чтобы защитить клиентов и активы, а также провести расследование причин взлома 26 января 2018 года.
В дальнейшем Coincheck решила постепенно возобновить оказание услуг, техническая безопасность которых была подтверждена при помощи внешних экспертов. С сегодняшнего дня:
«Coincheck возобновила открытие новых учетных записей и депозитов клиентов, а также покупку некоторых криптовалют».
Для внесения на депозит доступны следующие цифровые валюты: BTC, ETC, LTC и BCH. Помимо биткоина, работа с которым не прекращалась после взлома, теперь доступны торговые операции с ETC, LTC и BCH. Счета смогут открыть пока только жители Японии. Процесс регистрации новых счетов биржа проводит с использованием правил KYC (know your customer).
Напомним, в последнем отчете биржа Coincheck сообщила об увеличении убытков в третьем квартале 2018 года.
