Эта восточноафриканская страна заключила партнерское соглашение с компанией IOHK, специализирующейся на исследовании и развитии блокчейна. В частности, компания разрабатывает приложения для доставки кофе и других сельскохозяйственных культур.
В опубликованном пресс-релизе IOHK заявила, что сотрудничает с министерством науки и технологии Эфиопии. Кроме того, она намерена тесно работать с чиновниками, предпринимателями и стартапами страны.
IOHK займется подготовкой специалистов
Гетахун Мекуриа (Getahun Mekuria), министр науки и технологии, заявил, что исследования сосредоточены на использовании блокчейн-платформы Cardano как базы для работы эфиопских разработчиков.
По словам Чарльза Хоскинсона (Charles Hoskinson), исполнительного директора IOHK, усилия компании простираются дальше, чем поддержка блокчейн-проекта. «Мы также обучаем местных блокчейн-разработчиков. Некоторых из них мы возьмем на работу, другие продолжат приносить пользу экономике своей страны».
