Известный сторонник биткоина, криптоаналитик и основатель инвестиционной компании BKCM Брайан Келли (Brian Kelly) разуверился в возможности получения одобрения регулятора для биткоин ETF в ближайшее время. Показательно, что еще полгода назад, в конце августа, Келли заявлял, что криптовалютный инвестиционный инструмент ETF будет «скорее всего» принят в феврале 2019 года.
Между тем общее состояние криптовалютного рынка в наступившем году будет значительно лучше прошедшего 2018 года, считает аналитик:
«Мы приблизились к завершению медвежьего рынка, хотя не исключено еще одно снижение цены. Концентрация внимания в 2019 году на биткоине и Litecoin будет объясняться повышением напряжения в мире. Возможно некоторые геополитические персонажи будут использовать биткоин в качестве хеджирующей позиции по золоту или для страхования от излишней волатильности фиатных валют».
Биткоин в 2019 году перейдет в разряд институциональных инструментов, широко практикуемых крупными финансовыми учреждениями. Однако касательно разрешения SEC на работу с биткоин ETF у Келли возникают сомнения.
«В индустрии сохраняется множество проблем, на разрешение которых уйдут годы. Комиссия по ценным бумагам вряд ли изменит мнение в ближайшие месяцы», – отметил эксперт, намекая на тот факт, что все предыдущие ETF получили отказ регулятора.
Кроме того Келли предположил, что существует высокая вероятность новой рецессии в мировой экономике, что может поддержать биткоин как резервную валюту, альтернативную фиату.
