В ходе очередного конференц-звонка разработчики Ethereum обсудили вопрос высоких транзакционных комиссий и варианты решения этой проблемы.
Независимый исследователь Алексей Ахунов поднял вопрос роли токенов газа в росте транзакционных комиссий.
Как он заяил, в мемпуле часто бывает множество транзакций с определенной ценой газа, которые предназначены для выпуска таких токенов. Также сравнил это с биржевой книгой ордеров, где трейдеры пытаются покупать активы на низких ценовых отметках, выставляя соответствующие заявки. По словам Ахунова, такие транзакции не так просто отменить и это приводит к искусственному завышению цены газа.
Суть одного из предложений состоит в устранении механизма возмещения расходов, делающего возможным существование токенов газа. Ахунов подчеркнул, что на создание таких токенов приходится всего около 2% текущих расходов раза.
Дополнительно разработчики обсудили предложение EIP-2929, выдвинутое сооснователем Ethereum Виталиком Бутериным и разработчиком Мартином Суэнде. Оно предполагает существенное увеличение стоимости газа для некоторых операций хранения.
Это позволяет защитить сеть от потенциальных DoS-атак. Его реализация может удешевить некоторые другие операции. Ахунов отметил, что некоторые нюансы EIP-2929 требуют дальнейшего обсуждения.
Еще один вопрос – EIP-2711. Суть его заключается в предоставлении возможности одному аккаунту оплачивать комиссии другого. Также оно предполагает опцию создания пакетных транзакций с гарантированным порядком их исполнения. Конкретных решений в отношении этого EIP пока принято не было.
