В отличие от операций на рынке цифровых активов, торговля и транзакции по производным от криптовалют финансовым инструментам, таким как контракты на разницу (CFD), опционы и фьючерсы, в настоящее время подпадают под регуляторный контроль FCA и требуют получения официального разрешения.
В понедельник, одновременно с отчетом Целевой криптовалютной группы правительства Великобритании, FCA заявило, что в первом квартале начнет консультации о возможном запрете на продажу криптовалютных деривативов.
Продажа производных финансовых инструментов на основе криптовалюты приносит высокую прибыль таким лондонским онлайн платформам, как IG Group и Plus500. Одновременно с вторичными инструментами FCA планирует начать рассмотрение и инфраструктуры рынка – бирж и кошельков.
По мнению специалистов, в настоящее время работа регуляторов не оказывает отрицательного влияния на индустрию.
