Финансовый регулятор Японии планирует проверить соблюдение лицензируемыми криптовалютными биржами требований по обеспечению внутренней безопасности, включая меры по борьбе с отмыванием денег (AML). По сообщению Nikkei, Агентство финансовых услуг (FSA) намерено обеспечить полное соблюдение действующих правил AML на крупных биржах. Главной причиной усиления контроля является увеличение объема операций, проводимых биржами со средствами клиентов.

По информации издания, на этой неделе FSA выдаст предупреждение как минимум пяти биржам, включая bitFlyer, Quoine и Bitbank. В ходе недавних проверок агентство выявило, что некоторые лицензированные биржи по-прежнему не имеют достаточных мер для выявления подозрительных транзакций. Кроме того FSA обеспокоено тем, что фирмы не набрали достаточного количества персонала для обработки постоянно растущего объема транзакций на своих платформах.
В апреле FSA уже поднимало вопрос по поводу идентификации личности на bitFlyer, после чего фирма пообещала, что изменит процедуру. Ранее FSA впервые отказало в лицензии криптовалютной бирже FSHO. Причиной послужило бездействие работников компании после получения двух предупреждений от регулятора о необходимости повышения безопасности и соблюдения норм AML.
