Сингапурская венчурная компания Golden Gate заявила сегодня о запуске фонда в размере 10 миллионов долларов, направленного на инвестирование в криптовалютные и блокчейн стартапы. Фонд будет возглавлять бывший глава стратегического развития Golden Gate Кенрик Дрийонинген (Kenrick Drijoningen).
По заявлению Дрийонингена, запускаемый фонд будет направлен на развитие криптовалютного сектора, несмотря на длительное снижение рынка цифровых активов в 2018 году:
«Мы рассматриваем блокчейн как прогрессивную технологию, сравнимую или, возможно, превосходящую Интернет по революционному потенциалу. В настоящее время оценки технологии становятся более взвешенными. Индустрия переходит к массовой адаптации, что является прекрасным временем для начала инвестирования».
Создаваемый фонд будет называться LuneX Ventures и будет «…инвестировать исключительно в высокопроизводительные блокчейн компании и криптовалюты». Такие проекты помогут «…вывести отрасль на новый уровень» во всем мире.
Напомним, в июне Binance создала фонд поддержки технологии блокчейн величиной в миллиард долларов.
