Криптовалютная биржа Huobi в партнерстве с компаниями NewMargin Capital и Kiwoom Securities создает инновационный фонд для поддержки блокчейн стартапов в Китае и Южной Корее, сообщает China Money Network. Вновь создаваемый фонд планирует привлечь инвестиции на общую сумму 100 млрд вон (93 млн долларов). При этом в качестве ограниченных партнеров в фонд будут привлечены Корейский банк развития и Промышленный банк Кореи.
Основными инвесторами фонда, помимо Huobi, являются NewMargin Capital — венчурная фирма в Пекине и Kiwoom Securities — онлайн-брокерская фирма в Южной Корее. Новый инвестиционный фонд является одним из нескольких мероприятий, предпринятых Huobi для расширения своей деятельности по всему миру.
Huobi была одной из крупнейших китайских платформ, проводивших криптовалютную торговлю до введения запрета в конце прошлого года. После закрытия китайской торговой платформы в октябре основатель компании Леон Ли (Leon Li) запустил Huobi Pro — международную торговую платформу со штаб-квартирой в Сингапуре. Недавно Huobi также расширила свою деятельность в Канаде и Бразилии.
