Похожая ситуация была с криптовалютой Dogecoin (DOGE). Тогда Маск опубликовал твит из-за чего за несколько дней цена Dogecoin выросла в несколько раз.

Руководитель Tesla неоднократно высказывался о биткоине. К примеру говорил, что не против получать оплату в биткоинах, объяснял писательнице Джоан Роулинг все плюсы криптовалюты, а в 2018 году даже прошел через блокировку аккаунта из-за твита о биткоине.
