«В криптосфере актив DOGE воспринимается как шутка. А при помощи постов от Маска и благодаря поддержке китов, стоимость монеты взлетела в стратосферу, усилив спрос со стороны новых участников рынка. Откровенно: это пузырь. Он взорвется и лишит денег многих розничных инвесторов», — пояснил он.
По мнению Хоскинсона, снижение курса DOGE «привлечет внимание регулирующих органов». А это станет причиной ужесточения нормативных требований.
Кроме того Хоскинсон сравнил Dogecoin с проектами блокчейна третьего поколения. Последние обладают капиталом и большими командами, которые стремятся создавать ценность в сценариях использования. В отличие от них, DOGE — лишь копия биткоина без оригинальной технологии и разработчиков, заявил Хоскинсон.
Нужно также смотреть на новости. К примеру, 18 апреля популярный среди трейдеров агрегатор новостей @FirstSquawk написал о якобы готовящемся запуске Чикагской товарной биржей (CME) фьючерсов на DOGE.
