Как пишет агентство Bloomberg, банк намерен начать тестирование JPM Coin с помощью внешних клиентов к концу текущего года.
Звучит хорошо, однако для того, чтобы продолжать осуществление проекта, JP Morgan потребуется разрешение регулятора. Об этом заявил глава отдела блокчейна и цифровых финансовых услуг банка Умар Фарук (Umar Farooq).
В JP Morgan полагают, что их собственный актив сделает обращение бондов более быстрым по сравнению с традиционными системами. По словам Фарука, финансовые документы, обеспеченные JPM Coin, обеспечат «мгновенный» оборот ценных бумаг.
Криптовалюта или нет?
Напомним, что американский банк впервые объявил о создании привязанного к доллару США цифрового актива в начале года.
