Выступая на криптовалютном саммите Hybrid Summit в Гонконге, Чарльз Хоскинсон, соучредитель Ethereum, создатель Cardano и генеральный директор IOHK, подверг критике JPM Coin, новый цифровой актив JP Morgan.
Бизнесмен утверждает, что традиционные финансовые учреждения стремятся использовать новые технологии в стремлении сохранить свое влияние на мировую экономику, сообщает Daily Hodl.
«Я изучил JP Morgan Coin и заявляю – вы, ребята, просто не получите это место. Вы не знаете, как работает новая система. Это мерзкая концепция. Банки во главе с ФРС стремятся управлять новой индустрией, не создавая ничего нового и необходимого», – заявил Хоскинсон.
По его мнению, именно преступная деятельность банков породила идею криптовалюты:
«Мир переживает последствия банковских злодеяний и неправильных решений. В качестве ответной реакции и появилась криптовалюта, которая продолжает развиваться и в конечном счете уничтожит устаревшую систему».
Действия банков выкинули около трех миллиардов человек из существующей финансовой системы, считает Хоскинсон. Появление криптовалюты может спасти ситуацию и вовлечь изолированных граждан развивающихся стран в мировую экономику. Именно в таких странах развернется «…главная битва старых империй и новых технологий».
Ранее, летом 2018 года, Хоскинсон утверждал, что Уолл-стрит принесет в криптовалютную индустрию триллионы долларов.
