Адвокаты осужденного во Франции россиянина Александра Винника потребовала выплатить 5 млн евро в качестве моральной компенсации и снять с него обвинения в отмывании средств.
По словам адвоката Фредерика Бело, сторона обвинения не смогла предоставить достаточное количество доказательств участия Винника в преступной деятельности.
Также юрист добавил, что французские власти не пытаются привлечь к ответственности биржу BTC-e и полагаются лишь на информацию американской юстиции, которая безосновательно называет подзащитного сооснователем этой платформы.
«В деле сказано об отмывании средств в составе преступной группы, но на скамье подсудимых сидит только один человек», — отметил Бело.
Сторона обвинения не смогла подтвердить, что у Винника был доступ к аккаунту управления BTC-e. По этой причине сторона защиты настаивает на снятии обвинений и выплате Францией компенсации морального ущерба Виннику.
Прокуратура Франции попросила снизить размер штрафа из-за опасений, что взыскать назначенную сумму с россиянина не получится.
