Решение по торговле корпоративными облигациями LedgerLive на базе платформы Corda запустит основатель R3 Дэвид Раттер. Для этого он основал одноименную компанию.
Раттер уже определился с высшим руководством. По данным CryptoPotato, генеральным директором стал Дэвид Никол, ранее работавший в IBM и R3. Должность технического директора занял Боб Бозе, экс-сотрудник биржи NYSE Euronext. Операционным директором назначен Иэн Чикен (экс-глава торговой платформы BrokerTec).

По словам Раттера, консорциум пытается усовершенствовать морально устаревшие принципы торговли облигациями прежде недоступной технологией. Он основан 6 лет назад и сейчас состоит из более чем 300 финансовых учреждений. В R3 входят NASDAQ, JPMorgan, Barclays, Credit Suisse, Deutsche Bank, Bank of America, Citigroup и HSBC.
По словам Раттера, он уже обсуждает с прочими участниками концерна совместную разработку платформы и ее будущее применение в торговле облигациями. Данная инициатива станет очередной попыткой оцифровать пространство инструментов с фиксированным доходом. В 2015 году Раттер запустил платформу по торговле казначейскими облигациями США LiquidityEdge и в прошлом году продал ее за $150 млн.
