Bithumb, крупнейшая корейская криптовалютная платформа, объявила о планах запуска децентрализованной биржи (DEX) в течение нескольких месяцев.
Bithumb DEX, которая намерена выйти на глобальный криптовалютный рынок, будет открыта с помощью компании One Root Network (RNT), уже принимавшей участие в создании децентрализованной биржи в начале 2018 года.
Источник, близкий к Bithumb DEX, сообщил местным изданиям, что с целью расширения базы пользователей на другие страны биржа составила среднесрочный план по открытию DEX в течение ближайших месяцев.
«Bithumb – одна из лидирующих глобальных бирж, однако большинство ее пользователей – корейцы. Решение о создании DEX – стратегия компании, направленная на конкурирование с другими крупнейшими биржами на глобальном рынке с помощью открытия децентрализованной биржи, которая привлечет внимание глобального рынка», – отметил источник.
Основным конкурентом Bithumb DEX станет Binance
Ранее стало известно, что криптовалютная компания Binance обнародовала первые данные о будущей децентрализованной бирже (DEX), сообщает CoinDesk. Биржа Binance в настоящее время является крупнейшей в мире по объему торговли цифровыми активами. В марте компания объявила о планах запуска нового блокчейн-проекта для разработки Binance Chain — платформы для передачи и обмена различными криптовалютными активами без централизованного оператора.
В июле 2018 официальный сайт Binance.com сообщил о создании новой децентрализованной платформы Binance Chain, полноценная работа которого запланирована на конец года.
Основатель Binance Чанпэн Чжао (Changpeng Zhao) завил тогда в интервью Bloomberg: «Философия децентрализованной биржи – свобода выбора, свобода инвестиций».
