Большая часть из $75,9 млрд ($54,3 млрд или 71,5%) пришлась на биржи «Низшего эшелона». Для платформ, представляющих «Высший эшелон», эти показатели составили $21,6 млрд или 28,5%. Последние цифры, хотя и не являются рекордными, сопоставимы с показателями июля и декабря 2017 года.
При этом в целом за март объемы торгов на биржах «Высшего эшелона» выросли по сравнению с февралем на 8% ($288 млрд), в то время как на биржах «Низшего эшелона» этот показатель упал на 7,9% до $1,02 трлн.

Для многих крупнейших бирж средний прирост в марте составил 35%. Согласно графику ниже, в тройку лидеров вошли Binance ($63,6 млрд / +19,2%), OKEx ($47,7 млрд / +8,2%) и Coinbase ($13,3 млрд / +41,9%).
Однако, если вернуться к обвалу в прошлом месяце, который начался 12 марта, в этот период лидером по объемам торгов на рынках BTC/USD и BTC/USDT оказалась биржа Bitfinex, следом за ней шли Coinbase, OKEx и Bitstamp. Так, только в первый час обвала на Bitfinex пришлось 40% объема торгов всех ведущих бирж, а в среднем за минуту заключалось сделок на $11,8 млн.
