Чистые реализованные и нереализованные убытки Galaxy Digital в третьем квартале составили 41 миллион долларов США, что в сочетании с результатами предыдущих кварталов составляет 136 миллионов долларов в 2018 году. Цена акций компании также упала до рекордного минимума после снижения на 55% в этом месяце.
В компании убытки объяснили падением цен на основные криптовалюты — биткоин (BTC), Ripple (XRP) и эфириум (ETH). В заявлении Galaxy Digital указывается, что снижение цены криптовалют является «встречным ветром» к успеху. Однако компания «продолжит улучшать и укреплять [свой] торговый бизнес».
