Заявка на продажу акций на сумму до $500 млн была подана компанией MicroStrategy. Полученные средства команда планирует направить на покупку биткоина, что следует из дополнения к проспекту эмиссии от 9 сентября 2022 года.
MicroStrategy подписала соглашение с инвестиционным банком Cowen and Company и компанией BTIG, которые выступят финансовыми посредниками. Речь идет о продаже обыкновенных акций класса А по цене $0,001 за бумагу.
«Мы намерены направить чистые поступления от размещения на корпоративные цели, включая покупку биткоина, если иное не указано в соответствующем дополнении к проспекту. Мы не определили сумму чистой выручки, которую используют для какой-либо конкретной цели», — сказано в заявлении.
Вдобавок компания отметила, что количество приобретаемых BTC будет зависеть от «рыночной ситуации».
Сейчас биткоин торгуется вблизи $21 636. За последнюю неделю актив подорожал на 8%, по данным CoinGecko.
На эту новость отреагировала стоимость акций MicroStrategy. В результате торговой сессии 9 сентября ценные бумаги компании подорожали почти на 12%.
