По словам главы Банка Франции Франсуа Вильруа де Гало, команда Binance должна сосредоточится на соблюдении требований по борьбе с отмыванием денег, если планирует получить разрешение на открытие штаб-квартиры. Такую информацию опубликовало агентство Reuters.
Напомним, что за 2021 год регулирующие органы многих стран, включая Нидерланды, Италию, Великобританию, Польшу, Японию, Таиланд, Гонконг, Сингапур, ЮАР, опубликовали предостережения касательно деятельности Binance или приняли меры в отношении биржи.
По словам представителей команды, главной причиной регуляторных проблем стала децентрализованная модель ее бизнеса, и потому Binance решила от нее отказаться.
А уже в ноябре CEO Binance Чанпэн Чжао заявил, что Париж будет «естественным выбором» для размещения региональной, а, возможно, и глобальной штаб-квартиры.
Управляющий также ACPR Вильруа де Гало назвал это подтверждением «инновационного динамизма парижских рынков». Но все будет зависеть от гарантированного доверия регуляторов, добавил он.
«Именно этим будут руководствоваться ACPR и AMF в своих действиях, особенно по ключевой проблеме борьбы с отмыванием денег», — подчеркнул Вильруа де Гало.
Напомним, что в августе биржа ввела обязательную верификацию пользователей.
