16 января международная платежная система SWIFT совместно с Народным банкомКитая (НБК) зарегистрировали совместную компанию Finance Gateway Information Service Limited. Исходя из названия, компания займется разработкой платежного шлюза, об этом сообщает CoinDesk.
Цели компании еще не неизвестны, ее создатели не ответили на комментарии издания. Исходя из информации, что есть в открытых источниках, она займется агрегированием систем информации, обработкой данных и технологическим консультированием.
Насчет уставного капитала. Он составил €10 млн ($12 млн). 55% в ней принадлежит дочерней компании SWIFT в Гонконге, 42% — нескольким «дочкам» НБК, оставшаяся доля — платежно-клиринговой ассоциации Китая (PCAC).
Уже известен и руководитель компании. Им станет глава SWIFT в Китае Хуан Мэйлунь. Вице-президентом избран представитель PCAC Чэн Шиган. Также в совете директоров состоят три участника от SWIFT и один от исследовательского института цифровых валют НБК.
В августе 2020 года SWIFT открыла дочернюю компанию в Китае для поддержки усилий страны по интернационализации юаня.
