Злоумышленники взломали краудфандинговую платформу DAO Maker. Согласно информации аналитиков PeckShield, хакеры вывели с платформы более $7 млн в стейблкоинах USD Coin (USDC).

Злоумышленники вывели депозиты некоторых пользователей DAO Maker в USDC и конвертировали их в Ethereum. Такую информацию подтверждает обозреватель Etherscan, согласно которому на якобы принадлежащем хакерам адресе находится более 2261 ETH (~$7 млн по курсу на момент написания).
А по информации от журналиста Колина Ву, кража затронула 9000-10 000 счетов. Стейблкоины могли конвертировать в ETH, чтобы не дать возможности эмитенту USDC — консорциуму Centre — заморозить активы.

На протяжении дня пользователи неоднократно сообщали о пропаже депозитов. От представителя проекта Пола Уджа (Paul Utah) появилась информация с просьбой воздержаться от спекуляций на тему взлома депозитарного контракта. Администрация канала отключила возможность оставлять в нем сообщения.
Из-за новостного фона вокруг этой ситуации, токен DAO упал в стоимости на 15%. На данный момент цена актива — $1,67.
Напомним, вчера хакер, который накануне взломал китайский межсетевой протокол Poly Network, вернул похищенные в результате атаки деньги.
