Предварительно известно, что AntRack состоит из:
- серверной стойки;
- коммутатора;
- четырех серверов;
- главной панели управления и системы водяного охлаждения.
Главные компоненты устройства — плата для вычислений хэш-функции, панель управления, блок питания и вентиляторы — все они поддерживают горячую замену.
Представители компании Bitmain подчеркивают, что благодаря модульному подходу минимизируется время простоя оборудования. Вместе с тем, это удешевляет последующее обновление. Ведь для этого необходимо только заменить хэш-плату с набором чипов при переходе от нынешней технологии 7-нм к 5-нм и так далее.
Для работы оборудования необходимы трехфазное питание, сетевой кабель и входы/выходы водяного охлаждения. Разработчики также предусмотрели решение ANTBOX для дата-центров в виде моноблока из десяти стоек AntRack.
Как отмечают журналисты, конфликт соучредителей компании продолжается. По сценарию, Джихан Ву и Микри Чжан должны были «пожать руки» на саммите в Санья, где и проходила презентация.
